Jack will be back in just a few days in a special, televisual spectacular ahead of season 7 which begins its path of destruction on January 11th.

Redemption, the title of this special programme, promises to be as explosive as any other season, if not more so – given that it is more akin to a made-for-TV movie as opposed to a TV episode, as Jack Bauer fleas to Sangela, Africa from a US arrest warrant. Inevitably though our friend Jack finds himself drawn in to a local coup led by a vicious and vile dictator. Back in the US the firs female president takes office.

I am not certain whether this special event will be in real time format or in deed what significance it will hold in terms of the story and plot lines for Season 7, It goes without saying that we can expect a certain degree of consequence and/or story crossover spilling in to the season 7. Apparently Bauer will face an impossible decision that will change his life forever… for the better, probably not! Redemption is also set to introduce the guy pulling the strings behind the new terrorist threat of the season, Mr. Jon Voight, marking the first ‘celebrity’/well known villain since Dennis Hopper (and his dodgy accent) way back when in Season one.

It is worth noting that during the crew’s time in Africa shooting this showreel of destruction, they took time out to shoot some still imagery, some of which is truly amazing to look at.
