The Fuel Girls
Last night, Halloween night, I attended one of my favourite Manchester Rock venues – Caged Asylum, a highly anticpated halloween party night with special guests; The Fuel Girls.
Check out the Fuel Girls web site for tour info, pictures and merchandise including some of their sizzling tours captured on DVD! You’ll have to register for access to their galleries but they are worth taking the time for to fill out a few details about yourself, you’ll see that although these girls hail from London they tour internationally to put on their shows – even to the dizzy lights of Vegas!
The Fuel Girls are awesome, they are very much like the Suicide Girls but offer more atitude and British sex appeal, since SG’s won’t tour the U.K for some unknown reason – it is awesome that these kind girls take their place and offer us a ‘high-octane’ all crazy show. The venue, Caged Asylum, I felt let these girls down – the stage was way too low and we could barely see the girls perform, especiually when they hit the floor, even just four or five rows back we struggled… in fact if i’m honest I was disappointed that I had paid for a ticket for something I could not see, but later they took to the bar top and delivered another spectacle, one that I was closer to and although not able to participate in at least I could watch them do their thing.
Their my latest obsession, I like anyone who manages to create something sexy and fun, people who are struck by an idea and who choose to grab the lightbulb and really go for it… to set off on an uncharted path, following just a dream, just an idea, can be daunting and there just isn’t enough people in the World willing to go for something they believe in.
“I Wish I had taken some better photos… and more of!”
I find it truly awesome that these girls are making their own kind of innovative entertainment, entertainment that I happen to enjoy. I wish they would tour the UK more and released more DVD’s of their exploits, in fact these girls should be on mainstream tellie with their own, rockier, sexier version of Girls Next Door… what an ace thing that would be!
