I’m looking forward to my first shoot in awhile, hindsight is a powerful tool and has enabled me to take a step back, away from calendars and diaries, and actually look out images from my shoots side-by-side and critically look at them, purposely finding faults, flaws and general areas of ‘iffiness.’ Poses that don’t fit the image, location and model as well as glaring failiures in lighting a shot are paticular areas where i fall down and in a lot of cases these flaws ruin the image. I am taking notes and continually assesing my techniques and imagery to be better, to take better shots and infuse them with a mood, emotion and feeling.

We will all find out how far i have come and how much further i have to travel, if at all, over the first week of June. Until then this blog will mostly likely be quiet, not unlike a ghost town in fact. Apologies in advance, heres to my continued learning and shooting!
